Registration for access to BNF text

BNF.org was launched in June 2000. It provides access to the complete text of the BNF to visitors based in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and to the developing countries listed here. Visitors are required to register with us in order to see the BNF text. Access to all other areas of the BNF website is unrestricted and does not require registration.

The publishers of the BNF offer the entire content of the latest edition on this website because it:

However, visitors to BNF.org are not entitled to download a significant amount of material from the site for personal use, nor is it permitted to download material for re-publication or use in commercial offerings. These are infringements of our copyright and Terms of Use.

One-time registration and logging in at each visit will provide the publishers with a little more information about who is using this resource; this will inform the development of BNF.org.

Access from developing countries

The publishers of the BNF want to continue to offer unrestricted access to the text of the current edition to individuals and organisations in developing countries who cannot afford to purchase a commercial version. Further details of these arrangements can be found here.
